Great Quote & Advice to Live By

A friend's profile on Facebook had the following quote from Sarah Jessica Parker:

“As we drive along this road called life, occasionally a gal will find herself a little lost. And when that happens, I guess she has to let go of the coulda, shoulda, woulda, buckle up and just keep going.” - Sarah Jessica Parker

I think this goes for everyone and we have to just keep Truckin'!!

Love it!! Hope you do to!!

Free Chocolate Fridays From Mars!!

The Real Chocolate Relief Act!! Every Friday through September Mars is giving away a chance to get a Free* Real Chocolate coupon for your favorite Mars product. Go to the following website for more information: www.realchocolate.com.

This "Real Chocolate" offer is to promote the fact that for nearly 100 years, Mars has made chocolate with 100% cocoa butter, which according to them is the taste bud-craving, melt-in-your-mouth chocolate you expect from Mars. Without cocoa butter, chocolate simply is not chocolate.

Saving On Groceries

What has come to be known as Couponing - The sending out or turning in of rebates and coupons, especially the regular redemption of a manufacturer's coupon for cash - has become very popular within the last year or 2. Today we are all looking for ways to save money! It has also, pretty much become a game to see how much money can be saved!

Thanks to my friend Ali, I have come across a great website to help you save money on your groceries!! The website Southern Savers, was started by a stay at home mom with 3 kids, attempting to save money to pay off a loan. This hobby, shall we say, became a regular activity for her and she is now helping others do the same. The website reports the weekly deals at several grocery stores common the the Southeast and certain national drugstores. It matches the deals to coupons found in the Sunday paper, store coupons and online coupons and breaks down your savings. Several other resources are provided. I highly recommend checking it out!!

The modern Mother's Day holiday came into being due to efforts made by Ms Julia Ward Howe and Ms Anna Jarvis. In 1912, Anna Jarvis trademarked the phrases "second Sunday in May" and "Mother's Day", and created the Mother's Day International Association. Mother's Day is celebrated to honor all mothers and express gratitude for the hardships they bear in bringing up a child. The Resolution for having a dedicated Mother's Day was signed by US President Woodrow Wilson on May 8, 1914. Since then people across the world have been celebrating Mothers Day with joy and devotion. It is celebrated on various days in many places around the world. Most countries including US, Australia, Canada and India celebrate Mothers Day on the second Sunday of May.
